Way back in the 20th century (1998 to be exact) 6 men sat around a table at Alconbury Sports and Social Club sharing a few pints and Alconbury Colts was formed.  There were 3 or 4 teams and about 40 players.  How the club has grown!

In 2005/06 we have 10 teams representing every age group from u9s to u17s and over 25 u7s having fun learning about the beautiful game.  Over 170 children play football for Alconbury Colts. Quite an achievement for a small village and something which we are proud of.

In 2002 just 3 of our managers had the Junior Team Managers Award.  Today we have 14 FA Level One coaches and look forward to gaining Charter Standard Club in the near future.

We have not won many trophies so far (Hunts u11 Mini-soccer Tony Gavin Cup 2003, u8 fair-play awards 2004 and 2005), but as the years go by the standard of football played by our teams is improving and, most importantly the boys and girls enjoy their football!
