Who can play?

Club members, guests and any golfer who knows them, are all welcome to play very sociable competition golf.  Handicap is not necessary however sense of humour is obligatory.

What do we offer?

The society offers a monthly golf event playing at courses within an hour or so of the Club.  Competitions are based on Handicap and prizes are awarded for individual, nearest the pins and team competition. We have played most local courses and have ventured as far as The Warwickshire and The Belfry.  There are around 50 members of the society, each event is normally supported by 16-24 people from that membership.  There is no compulsion to play every event. Each event is normally followed by a quiet evening of fine ale at the club!!

Where do we play?

The society organises an annual tour and weekends away. We have recently returned for a tour in Northumberland playing some great courses along the coast.  The society has previously played in West Yorkshire, sunny Bridlington and Arras in France.
